Why Can't I lose weight? A study released last month by the Trust for America’s Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation unveils that Americans are still getting fatter. According to report, adult obesity rates increased in 28 US states last year with rates ranging from 20% to over 30% in some states.

This is quite alarming, notably when you are a set of this statistic. Those who are overweight typically experience health problems such as diabetes, heart problems, amongst other health issues, without mentioning that you may be facing problems with your self-esteem.

These are actually, the terrible side effects of being overweight. Many over weight people rush into inadequate weight loss programs, live on dangerous fat burning pills, and even skip lunches and dinners, thinking that managing your weight means stop eating and go hungry. Do not stop eating.

This is the last thing you should do and if you ever have to do it for whichever reason but not for weight loss. Food is necessary and essential for healthy body.

The main key is to have a mindset that promotes weight loss.

weight loss programJust stay away from a weight loss program that suggests that you skip meals. You have to eat to have a successful sustained weight loss plan. Always keep this in mind and repeat it whenever necessary: “I do not have to be hungry in order to lose weight.”

By so doing you will keep your hunger in check and avoid overeating. It will also prevent you from feeling frustrated, fed-up, and unrestrained.

If you have already failed losing weight you can design and manage your own weight loss program or get the advice of a weight loss expert to help you be successful with your weight loss plan.

- If you find fast food in your eating, stop it right away.

Fast food menus do not help when it comes to losing weight, instead you will typically end up gaining more fat. In fact, fast food menus are not health-conscious and tend to offer meals that contain calories, extra salt, fat and cholesterol. There are lot of health-conscious recipes on the net that you can prepare for yourself.

healthy weight loss meals- Make it easy, colorful and fun.

Pre-packaged foods contain high amounts of fat, salt, and other unhealthy components that stimulate weight gain. Take some time to reprogram a thinner you.

What Are The Top Three Elements You Need For A Successful Weight Loss?

Posted by: yhtse

Tagged in: Untagged

healthy weight loss tipsThere are various ways to lose weight. It all depends on your weight loss program and the goals you set.

Losing weight does not necessary mean going the starvation supermodel way and never having a piece of chocolate again; Weight loss dieters compound their frustration by trying to compare their goals and abilities.

What they don’t remember that it does not matter what others are doing or not doing.

All that really counts is what they should be doing.

There are a few things that experts agree on in general, when it comes to losing weight and dieting; here are the essential three key elements you cannot and should not omit if you aim for a successful weight loss life style..

First Element: Water...

drink water for a healthy weight lossWeight loss experts unveil that the first major ingredient, which will help you be successful in your weight loss, is WATER. Unfortunately, most dieters take this element for granted.

They would rather drink coffee or soda instead of drinking water. Water is a natural appetite suppressant, which gives the benefit of hydration and fullness.

Drinking a full glass of water before eating your meal frees your stomach from holding as much food. Water has never been a weight gain supplement.

What you need to do is give your body enough water on a regular basis to release weight naturally. It is suggested to drink at eight to twelve glasses of water on a daily basis. Water deficiency in your body may result to a dehydrated body.

Often, you feel puffy and swollen with water weight when your body is really dehydrated.

This is because the body tends to hold onto the little amount of water it gets and stores it for a future need. So drink up!

Second Element: A Balanced Meal...

eat a balanced meal for a healthy weight lossThe second important ingredient said to be essential to a successful weight loss is eating a balanced meal.

Always make sure that your meals are composed with the basic food groups, including proteins and carbohydrates (fruits and vegetables).

Both proteins and carbohydrates are essential to a healthy meal and therefore a successful weight loss.

Skipping meals in attempt to lose weight is no way a good idea.

First and foremost, skipping meals is not good for your metabolism. Your metabolism is in constant need for regular meals.

Secondary, erratic eating schedules forces the body to starvation and ends up storing the intakes as fat to be employed for energy.

In the long run, you gain instead of losing weight.

Third Element: Exercising...

exercising for a healthy weight lossThis is the last, but not the least, of the three essential elements you should take into consideration for a healthy weight loss.

It has been said over and over again that for an effective weight loss, you can’t ignore that you need to move your body.

This is a matter of developing lean attractive muscles, in order to burning fat.

You can get involved in any sports activities, such as swimming, biking. Walking is generally one of the easiest the most recommended exercises amongst all.

All these weight loss tips are cost effective and can be done on your own.

However, you may require further assistances from a weight loss expert, depending on your case.

Get in touch with a weight loss therapist in your area and lose weight today.

Lose Your First or Last 10 Pounds and Reeve up Your Weight Loss Program

Losing weightFor the most effective result, carefully follow these suggested diet tips along with your physcians suggestions:

1.
Be aware of what you are consuming –foods and munchies. For that matter, it is essential that you write down what it is that is going in your mouth and the approximate quantity of what you eat on a daily basis. This has nothing to do with estimating calories; it is a matter of taking note of what you are eating to help you design a healthy diet program. Most people are not aware of the types of foods being consumed.

Consequently, make a list of the meals and snacks in advance, it makes your planning and you're shopping easier.

2.
Avoid the nibbling- do eat when feeling hungry. Most nibblers will end up taking high calorie food in. Instead, make available vegetables not only at lunch and dinner but in between your main meals. Do remember to have seasonal fruits; it makes for a great dessert for those who think they have a sweet tooth.

3. Reduce the quantity of fat you digest –
Cut down the fat by halving your consumption of pure or auxiliary fats, such as butter, oil, mayonnaise, sauce, and any food that contains fat.

Always buy lower fat yogurt and cheese and gradually, minimize the fat quantity in your milk products. For instance, if you are currently taking a whole litter of milk, simply reduce the quantity to 2% fat, and subsequently to 1%.

4.
Minimize the quantity of sugar –try to go for sugar free yogurts. Just say NO to the cookies, cake, chocolate, ice-cream, etc. Instead, choose fruits.

5. Increase the quantity of healthy fiber in your meals. – Plan to replace several of those meals that are composed of meat or cheese. Instead,
prepare meals comprised of vegetables, whole grains, and beans to minimize fat and gain fiber. Fiber helps your digestion so, whenever possible, use whole grains for a more sustained energy.

fast tips to lose weight 6. Eat one bite at a time –Do not race through your foods.
It's been proven that you tend to eat less when you chew your food slowly and appreciate every mouthful. The body takes approximately 20 minutes or longer to register when you are full.

7. Always go for chewable meals –
You should consider eating fruits instead of drinking canned processed juice. Likewise, your soup should be thick. By so doing, you increase your fiber intake. Actually, you tend to be more satiated when you chew than 'drinking' your foods.

8.
Drink water instead of soda or coffee –Try some hot water with a slice of lemon in the morning. This is optional, but the bottom-line is that you should stay away from diet soda. First, because diet soda will only encourage you to crave sugar because of the sweet taste; secondary, it is not really healthy. As an alternative to water, enjoy green tea. It can be delicious both hot and cold.

9. Stop the emotional eating – Start to notice what is moving into your mouth when you are stressed and bored.
Self coping or soothing with food is probably the number one way to pack on the excess pounds. Eating to change your emotions will not help you shed those unwanted pounds. Instead learn self hypnosis. Relaxing and focusing your mind on those thoughts and actions that will bring you results.

10.
Exercise –Though, you may eat healthy foods, you need to workout. Make a plan and work up to one hour every day. This is very essential to keep your body fit because it builds lean muscle. Let's face it having lean attractive muscles looks a lot better than the rolls of fat. So get up and move your body.

If you keep on integrating these diet tips into your everyday life, you can rest assured that you will be on your way to losing 10 pounds.

Diet Question –How Safe Is Your Weight Loss Program?

Posted by: yhtse

Tagged in: Untagged

Weight Loss ProgramIt’s been proven that many people become burned out when it comes to losing weight, while others simply obsess over their weight. In their excitement to lose weight, they make choices to skip breakfasts, lunches, or dinners thinking that this is the quickest way of getting rid of the stubborn fat.

This is not the way to go about it. Fasting and skipping meals is not a safe weight loss program.

So, how do you lose weight safely?

First of all, it is important to understand why you want to lose the weight. When you know this answer it will help you set your goals. You need to understand that not all weight loss programs are safe or beneficial to your health.

A safe weight loss program consists of providing your body with the necessary food and exercise it needs. No healthy weight loss program will require you to skip meals and simply focus on doing some aerobics in the gym.

Consequently, if your current weight loss program suggests crash dieting, then know that you are not on the right path to losing weight safely. I advise that you do stay away from these types of insane weight loss programs and focus on a healthier weight loss plan.

Here are some guidelines:

Eating Healthy Foods1. Eating healthy foods is very essential and valuable to fuel your body at all times. Your body is built to turn food into energy. Try to avoid eating foods that contain saturated fats and too many processed calories. At the same time, do not totally remove carbohydrates and fats from your diet. Your body needs both substances.

Do make sure that you are getting enough lean protein in your plan. One more thing; avoid consuming more calories than what you burn –balance the quantity of calorie-rich foods with the daily calorie expenditure. An imbalance may occur if you don’t and that could obstruct you from reaching your weight loss target.

Exercising2. Exercising, exercising, and exercising... you don’t have to regularly need to sweat it out with intensive activities but at least get up off your butt and start moving your body. Exercise like going to the gym can be very effective to help develop more lean muscle. You can also engage in some aerobic type activity such as cycling, swimming, jogging, skiing, etc.

So, start out easily and begin to work up to 1 hour a day. You can even invite some friends if that will help you make it more fun and enjoyable. If you don’t have to drive, avoid the car and walk. When you take a moment, consider how easy it can be for you to be active at all times.

3. Enjoy life. Don’t get too much obsessed with losing weight. Remember this is part of life not all of life.

So, select a weight loss program that you can follow, enjoy and commit to do.

Remember; skipping meals could lead to the negative side effects such as loss of energy, weakness, and of other problems. Eating well and exercising frequently is very important and you need to balance both.

So, just ask yourself again; “Is my weight loss program safe?”

If you are not too sure about it, maybe it’s time you located a weight loss specialist who will help you through the process of losing weight safely.

Get in touch with a weight loss therapist, who will help you establish a safe weight loss program and get rid of the fat. Most importantly choose to enjoy your life!

What You Need To Know About Diet Pills...

Tagged in: Untagged

Diet PillsNowadays, diet pills have become a rage in the weight loss community. Despite their harmful side effects on one’s health, diet pills are regarded as a “magic, just pop the pill” for resisting hunger and possibly burning fat.

There is even a group of medical doctors today that prescribe them to their patients. Diet pills are also available on the over the counter market and anyone can easily purchase one. However, what we often ignore is the real truth about diet pills.

There are things you need to know before considering using diet pills. It is quite understandable that over weight people a seeking to find new ways to deal with their nasty and embarrassing fat once and for all. Suppressing hunger is one common thought of controlling your weight.

Another is following a simple and effective eating program designed for you. However, far too many people wanting to lose weight are unable to resist hunger or should we say can’t stick to their weight loss program.

They often tend to break their plan and give into the emotional desire for the ‘forbidden’ meals or food. This leads them to believe that the only way to control their hunger is to use these appetite suppressants and fat burners.

Diet pills if used right can indeed be effective. Nonetheless, they are not good for everyone. Diet pills do come with many side effects range from high blood pressure, heart attacks, headaches, and even death.

Diet pills maybe best for people who have a BMI of 27 and over. Even so, you still need to be extra cautious when using them, as their side effects can be dreadful. One of the bigger risks of using diet pills is the risk of craving, which may be psychological and physical.

1. You should first consult a health care specialist prior to considering using diet pills. Diet pills may not be suitable for your health.

2. You should also consult people who have experience with these diet pills. Be well informed about their benefits, their side effects, and how long you can use them.

3. Pay particular attention to the pills’ label, including directions and precautions before using the product.

Moreover, it is totally wrong to think that weight loss pills are the solution to an automatic and fast weight loss without you exercising. It’s been proven that many people stop eating and working out once they commence using diet pills.

Have you considered what you are going to do when you finish the bottle?

How many bottles will you use so you are satisfied?

What will happen when you stop using them?

How will you eat and live without them?

In fact, the best way to quickly lose weight is to pursue it with exercise and a healthy eating program. Have you ever considered that athletes don’t diet? They use food for fuel. Food is the fuel to energize their exercise, have fun and live an exciting life.

Remember; prevention is better than cure.

If you are not quite too sure about the type of diet pills you should take, get in touch with a weight loss specialist

What Are the Three Terrible Diet Blunders Weightwatchers Commit?

Posted by: admin

Tagged in: Untagged

Weightwatchers' MistakesYou may have a gnawing ambition to get rid of this awful fat, but the way you go about it may not really help. If you are not careful things may get even worse.

Despite the range of tips available about weight loss or weight management, the same blunders are being made time and again. Unknowingly and inevitably, weightwatchers fall into the same big errors that lead to failure to lose the weight. Weight that they are so much desire to do away with.

The only way to avoid falling victim to these errors is to have a better understanding of them in order to adopt the attitude, which will lead you to permanent weight loss.

The first mistake weightwatchers tend to do is to select a complex diet program, which they often cannot keep up. As they seek to be the ideal weightwatcher, they will endeavor to stick to the program for several days and even weeks, but at the long run, what they dreaded doing most suddenly occurs. They are unable to stick with their diet. They start consuming the same comfort foods the diet programs once had them avoid. In less than a week, they put on weight as fast as they lost it.

The second big mistakes weightwatchers often do are to make unnecessary sacrifices. Weightwatchers commonly deprive themselves from the quantity of food they can or should consume to lose weight.

Unfortunately, they often go out of control because they are not accustomed to eating foods that they are unfamiliar with. They will often stick to one or two group foodstuff and ignore the rest.

Dieters -Break These MistakesAnd the third error most weightwatchers fall into is failing to set clear, realistic, and attainable goals. It is very important to put on paper what you aim at achieving. This will help you assess the progress you are making toward your new thinner life while losing weight.

Some advices to break these errors

– Always pick out a flexible diet program that you can easily follow. Try to modify your current diet into this new eating pattern to ensure an effective and permanent weight loss.

– Your eating should comprise of a little of every healthy food group in your diet. Though, you still need to watch the portions of what you consume, do not be afraid to occasionally have a small candy.

– Stay focus at all times and set a more useful goal to enjoy this thinner lifestyle. However, if you are still finding difficulties in choosing the type of diet program will best suit you or need further help, do not hesitate to consult a specialist in weight management or a therapist.
