What Are the Three Terrible Diet Blunders Weightwatchers Commit?

Posted by: admin

Tagged in: Untagged

Weightwatchers' MistakesYou may have a gnawing ambition to get rid of this awful fat, but the way you go about it may not really help. If you are not careful things may get even worse.

Despite the range of tips available about weight loss or weight management, the same blunders are being made time and again. Unknowingly and inevitably, weightwatchers fall into the same big errors that lead to failure to lose the weight. Weight that they are so much desire to do away with.

The only way to avoid falling victim to these errors is to have a better understanding of them in order to adopt the attitude, which will lead you to permanent weight loss.

The first mistake weightwatchers tend to do is to select a complex diet program, which they often cannot keep up. As they seek to be the ideal weightwatcher, they will endeavor to stick to the program for several days and even weeks, but at the long run, what they dreaded doing most suddenly occurs. They are unable to stick with their diet. They start consuming the same comfort foods the diet programs once had them avoid. In less than a week, they put on weight as fast as they lost it.

The second big mistakes weightwatchers often do are to make unnecessary sacrifices. Weightwatchers commonly deprive themselves from the quantity of food they can or should consume to lose weight.

Unfortunately, they often go out of control because they are not accustomed to eating foods that they are unfamiliar with. They will often stick to one or two group foodstuff and ignore the rest.

Dieters -Break These MistakesAnd the third error most weightwatchers fall into is failing to set clear, realistic, and attainable goals. It is very important to put on paper what you aim at achieving. This will help you assess the progress you are making toward your new thinner life while losing weight.

Some advices to break these errors

– Always pick out a flexible diet program that you can easily follow. Try to modify your current diet into this new eating pattern to ensure an effective and permanent weight loss.

– Your eating should comprise of a little of every healthy food group in your diet. Though, you still need to watch the portions of what you consume, do not be afraid to occasionally have a small candy.

– Stay focus at all times and set a more useful goal to enjoy this thinner lifestyle. However, if you are still finding difficulties in choosing the type of diet program will best suit you or need further help, do not hesitate to consult a specialist in weight management or a therapist.

Self-esteem is based on how you think of yourself. This is stirred by the values and ideas that have been rooted in you, either by your entourage or the external world.

Just as when you feel lonely you need someone to cheer you up, so you do require a skilled instructor who will inspire you, educate you, and help you take out everything that is negative and restore it with positive information.

Mental diet is for anyone who lacks of self-esteem. It is one of the tools you should think about to re-improve your life and recover self-empowerment.

For most people, change and the unknown are both scary and prove to be a very painful experience. It’s been proven that people who are in a negative mind frame are likely to stay that way, because it is all that they know.

Conversely, the more esteem you have of yourself, the more likely you are driven by your will-power to reach your goals. Just by saying “I can,” you have probably completed half of the action. Out of the belief will there come the strength, the courage, and the motivation to pursue your goal.

Contrary to what most people do think, there is a vast different between coaching and traditional therapy. Therapy deals with unsolved issues in your life, whilst coaching examines your current life situation and how to make the future better.

I guess there are lots of stuffs in your mind. You may be perplexed and anxious about what your family and friends are wishing of you and you don’t really know what to do and who to please.

The difference between those who are wishing so much of you and a coach is that a coach will not judge you on your wants and desires. The coach will guide you to where you want to go. Actually, mental diet coaching is not about fixing, but forming.

Beware of Fake Life & Business Coaches

Posted by: admin

Tagged in: Untagged

It doesn’t really matter the degrees and certifications they have. Certifications do not necessary make a coach. An authentic coach has the ability to cultivate your professional and personal skill-sets. A coach, who cares about your needs, does not sell too hard.

Before entrusting yourself to any coach, be it a life or business coach, ensure that they have understanding of organizational dynamics and exposes some formal training.

A coach who has never published books, does not offer auxiliary services, or is not part of any organization may only be interested in eating your money.

Coaching is an interview, an exchange of point of views between you –the coachee –and the coach. Stay away from any consultant, therapist, or coach who directs you toward answers without involving you in solving the problems.

A skilled coach will hold your hand in the step-by-step process of solving your problems. A good coach will engage you in dialogue; give you an insight into the matter, and eventually let you decide what is best for you by helping you make the right decision.

No skilled coach will sell his clients’ information. An authentic coach will have an in-depth conversation or will offer a trial session before either of you decide whether you are satisfied with the coaching relationship with each other.

An expert coach will provide support, and tips when necessary to help you enhance your skills, and resources. A good coach will inspire you to accomplish your dreams and not just dictate to you.

So, if a consultant does not expose such ethics, then know that you are certainly not dealing with a skilled coach; but rather wasting your time, money, and energy.

For an effective development of your personal, organizational, and professional skill-set, make sure you pick the right coach... a coach who is trained to listen, monitor and customize his or her approaches to meet your needs.

PHILLIES Baseball Sports Psychology – “We need to get on track.”

Tagged in: Untagged

“We need to get on track.” (Ryan Howard)

So, what’s up with that? About a third of the way through the 2010 season and the Phillies are muddling along like they’ve lost their way. This group of well paid veteran baseball players seems unable to bring it together. What are we waiting for? What seems to be the problem? Rumor has it that they may be suffering psychologically from their slump.

So what do you do when the effects of a poor sports performance hit like a snowball rolling downhill? How does any athlete stop the downhill hypnosis slide and pull out a recovery?

  • Desire
  • Determination
  • Dedication
  • Focus
  • Confidence

It’s a short list and makes a recovery sound easy. However, pulling out of a performance slump can be one of the hardest things to do for any person in any occupation. Whether a professional athlete, corporate executive, high school student or anything in between, regaining peak performance will take some work. It’s a mental programming process. Let’s look at the process of overcoming the doldrums.

Desire - You want to change your performance level. You want to do better!

Determination – You have made up your mind to do what it takes to succeed. You want success!

Dedication – You have decided to devote your time and effort to your goal. Achievement in the end!

Focus – Your mind is back on your game and distractions are gone. It’s all about your game!

Confidence – You know you have what it takes to perform. You know you can win!

I’ve spent years training athletes to train their minds along with their bodies. I’ve shown athletes in every arena of play how to stay motivated, focused, and confident. I developed The Stofka Method, as a safe and highly effective means to transform negative thought patterns into winning thought patterns for sports performance psychology and mental training . Winning thought patterns are critical when it’s game time. Athlete’s play to win and no other outcome satisfies like a win!

I currently have players as young as 11 to in there 40’s that we have turned around inconsistent throws and broken batting slumps. Many of these mental training and rewiring sessions has been so dramatic that several of my high school players have been able to increase their college scholarships.

If I had the opportunity to talk to the Phillies, one on one or as a team, I might say to them, “Lets turn your mind back on, your game! Your winning game. You are champions! It’s time for you to let your body play your game like the champions you are. Success is out there, just make up your mind to go get it!” GET BACK ON TRACK…

As a father, I am not a smoker and as far as I can recall, I have never touched a cigarette before in my entire life. I don't think that I will ever consider smoking, notably when I know the damages that tobacco smoke can cause especially to dads.

I personally know of many people who started smoking at a very young age and how its mess up their lives. Unfortunately, many of them never quit smoking – they are committed to smoking and have no idea as to when they will stop –and the question is if they will ever refrain from cigarettes.

Each time they get frustrated, embarrassed, or misunderstood, they set their hands on cigarettes as if these cancer sticks could eventually release them from their misery. I know how hard it is to give up on something that has become a part of your daily activities.

So many former smokers have made it through; you too should come over this deadly habit.

Why You Too Must Quit Smoking?

1. Former smokers believe that they worth living a healthy life (which of course, every good person deserves). They want a better health and probably do not want to die prematurely as a result of smoking as it is usually the case. Nothing is so bitter than to die in your middle age.

2. They did not want to be a statistic by one of the fatal diseases that come along with smoking; coronary heart disease, chronic disruptive lung disease –emphysema and bronchitis – and lung cancer. There is nothing so thrilling than to having the energy to go about your activities and being able to make your breathing easier.

According to analysis, after quitting smoking, your lungs regain their vitality –they work up to 10% more efficiently. So what kind of sane person would wants to pump into the body a poisonous gas that connects with red blood cells that will not permit them carry more oxygen?

3. Smelling better Nothing is disgusting than to smell tobacco smoke. This could even cost you a job.

4. Smoking is expensive beside the fact that it ruins your life. Take for instant the average retail price of Marlboro Cigarettes going for $4.25 up to $12.00, you wouldn't save much on your Term Life Assurance, especially if you tend to be a regular smoker. Some former smokers I know told me that they were fed up losing their moneys on a product that will eventually ruin their lives.

Make a quick calculation yourself and you will know how much you are spending per annum on cigarettes at current retail prices: [Average number of cigarettes smoked per day multiplied by $160]. That makes a pack a day smoker spending at least $3200 a year plus all the other incidentals that are purchased.

5. If you don't care about your health some friends of yours do. Spouse, your children and grandkids

You probably have loved ones who wouldn't want to miss you. You should consider this carefully, before it is too late. Stop smoking today.

See how Philly Hypnosis can help you quit smoking

Thanks to efficient smoking solutions like that of The Stofka Method, a combination of performance hypnosis and Neuro-Linguistics Psychology. This is done by "rewiring the mind" from the condition habits of smoking (smoking after meals, being stressed etc.) to craving fresh air and being free without the need for prescription drugs. Besides creating happy and successful smoke free individuals, The Stofka Method has helped transform people for Weight Loss, Business Performance, and Sports Performance Psychology.

Stofka has guided hundreds to a healthier, happier, smoke-free lifestyle His method that he developed, The Stofka Method can help break the chains of addiction to cigarettes. Imagine by-passing the physical and mental withdrawal symptoms of nicotine addiction without drug induced side effects. What if you were to feel healthier after just one visit? What would it be like if, finally, after all those years, you will be able to call yourself an EX-smoker!

Its time for you to make a difference in your life. It's time for you to take control. Make the choice. Choose to be healthy. Choose to quit smoking today!

On this day quitters truly are winners!

The Hypnosis of Protecting Your Athletic Scholarship

Posted by: admin

Tagged in: Untagged

So, you're on your way to being a college athlete! Graduation is only a few weeks away. Your athletic scholarship is in the bag. And in just a few short months it's off to college! Woo - hoo!! Good for you!

You're taking the first big step into the real world. It's your first big "right of passage" into adulthood. You'll be on your own, away from mom and dad, maybe living on campus with a roommate, or even better, living off campus. Either way, for the first time in your life there's nobody telling you what to do or when to do it. You can hardly wait to get there! Sounds great doesn't it?

Well, okay, let's back up for just a minute. You say you're going to college on an athletic scholarship. That's great that you were able to get that money for college. Your hard work and all the sacrifices you made in high school seem to have paid off. Now what are you going to do to keep that scholarship?

College athletes have to work much harder than their non-athletic counterparts Why? You not only have to continue to excel at your sport, but you have to be able to keep your grades up too in order to keep your scholarship active. When the college coaches looked you over they were assessing your playing skills. But they were also looking at your academic record, your grades, and your attendance. They wanted to make sure that you were disciplined and capable of being a college athlete and a student at the same time. There's no faster ticket home than to start getting bad grades or giving poor performances on the field. In high school if your grades slipped or you played poorly, you got a warning to do better. If you're in college, you get to go home.

What if you were shown skills and techniques that you can use to give yourself the competitive edge in both your sport and in the classroom. You can have fun while learning to relax, concentrate and focus your mind on the subjects you're studying. You can develop skills that help you study and absorb information more effectively. At the same time I'll show you how to always be prepared for your game. You can learn to create a sports performance mind with unshakeable confidence.

YOUR ACADEMIC AND ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE TOOL KIT -

  • Overcome distraction obstacles for good

  • Gain high performance fact retention at will

  • Create fun in a boring subject

  • Turn fear butterflies into unshakable confidence

  • Change inconsistent performance into repeatable peak success

  • Develop and maintain your winning edge

  • Spin anxiety, fear, and stress into unshakable confidence

  • Silence any nagging, doubting voice in your head

  • Develop laser focus and concentration

  • Turn on focused high intensity for work outs and games at will

  • Create a repeatable confidence in any competitive situation

  • Change inconsistent performance into repeatable peak success

Roughly 25% of your fellow college freshmen will most likely fail in their first year. Let me help you prepare yourself to succeed. Don't become a statistic.

Phil Mickelson - Hypnosis and Sports Psychology Focus Wins the Masters

Posted by: admin

Tagged in: Untagged

"I mean a great shot is when you pull it off. A smart shot is when you don't have the guts to try it. I kept saying that if I trust my swing, I'll pull it off." - Phil Mickelson, Masters Champion, Augusta 2010

That statement by 2010 Masters Champion Phil Mickelson exudes the highest level of confidence and hypnosis like focus any athlete can display He was, of course, referring to his magnificent though somewhat daring play from out of the trees on the 13th hole that "shocked and awed" the entire gallery and legion of press reporters.

Phil could see a shot that nobody else could see Nobody really thought that he should or would play the ball the way he did. Anything but a safe lay up would be a huge gamble. But that was not the shot Mickelson saw in his mind. This is the sports psychology mind set of a champion. He calmed himself, honed his focus, and took the shot. The ball missed the trees and landed on the green 3 feet from the cup just as he had planned.

Phil Mickelson "saw" the execution of that play in his mind before he ever took the swing. He could see it, he could feel it, and it all played out exactly as he intended How did he do that? He said it himself. He said if he trusted his swing, he'd pull it off. And so he did, much to the amazement of all who saw it. Phil Mickelson trusted his swing. He trusted his skills and ability. Phil had the utmost confidence in himself. There was no doubt in his mind that he would make that incredible shot.

Throughout the tournament coaches and reporters kept saying that Phil Mickelson was playing aggressively. I say, Phil Mickelson was playing with confidence For him to play with that amount of confidence and focus on his golf game was an incredible feat in and of itself considering all the other issues weighing on him in his personal and family life. I believe to exhibit that level of confidence under that amount pressure is a sure sign of a true champion. He earned his win. He earned his jacket.

A while back Phil was quoted as saying "mental rehearsal is just as important as physical rehearsal." He indicated that it's a matter of having your mind and your body in sync with the focus directed toward one visual goal. And that's the way to play better golf.

That gives us a great deal of insight into the power behind the "mental game" of a champion athlete. The utilization of confidence, belief, focus, and visualization are more critical to an athlete's game than their physical fitness and their equipment. An athlete, no matter what the sport, can have all the right equipment, be physically trained to use it, but without confidence and focus and mental training techniques, their performance will most likely be nothing more than average.

True excellence and champion status in any given sport comes only after the mind is conditioned and trained along with the body.

These are the keys that will lead to a winning game:

* Self confidence

* Self belief

* Focus

* Visualization

* Emotional control

As a golfer, you already know how attitude and mind set can affect your game. Hypnosis and Golf – Listen the Fairways and Greens are Calling

Posted by: admin

Tagged in: Untagged

"One under a tree, one under a bush, one under the water." Lee Trevino, describing how he was one under during a tournament

As we celebrate the coming of spring when all things seem new again, we begin to hear distant hypnotic calling of the fairways and greens The excitement and the exhilaration set in as the Masters begin play in Augusta. So it must be time for us to grab our shoes, pack our bag and head for the course.

Ah Spring! The smells, the sights, the breeze on our faces, and the unmistakable sounds of play make us breathe a little faster and our hearts skip a beat or two. It's great to get back to the game we love so much! The sound of the club as it slices through the crisp air… the "smack" when it makes contact with the small round object of our desire on the tee. Then we stand in awe and watch as it glides with ease though the blue skies.

As our ball drops back to earth, we hear it… the one sound like no other... the rustling crunch of leaves and twigs as we rifle about in the rough trying to locate the little white turncoat that has just crushed our spirit and ruined our day.

Where did it all go so wrong? We have all the right equipment, the clubs, the shoes, the gloves. Everything is good right down to the little towel hanging there. So what happened?

Simple. We let our mind get so wrapped up in the fervor and excitement of the idea of the game, we forgot to put our mind IN to the game. We left our focus and concentration behind Two of the most important tools, and we left them out of play.

You teed up, hit the ball, and hoped for the best. When in fact, what you should have done was make the choice, on the spot, to relax, clear your mind, and focus on your game.

With applied techniques such as NLP (neuro linguistic programming), hypnosis, positive affirmations, or visualization it can be your choice as to what the outcome of your golf game will be. You can be in control Not of the weather or the course conditions or the people around you, but of yourself.

NLP and hypnosis techniques will allow you to overcome your self-limiting beliefs and focus on being a better you, a better golfer You can redefine what direction you want your golf game to take. Once you begin to overcome those limitations, your game will improve and you score will begin to drop.

When you tee up, stop for just a moment

• Take a few deep breaths

• Feel your body relaxing

• Visualize the outcome of your swing

• Feel the confidence within yourself

• Know and believe that you will play well

Todd has shown hundreds of golfers and athletes how to effectively use these techniques and more to improve your game and your score. He can provide you with guidance and a strategy that will improve certain areas of your golf game or help you improve your overall performance. Call him today at Philly Hypnosis, 1-877-557-7409, for your free consultation.

Don't leave your mind behind. Bring it along for the fun! You'll be glad you did
.

If your desire and passion is to be successful and win at your chosen sport, Todd can show you how to bring out your best game and be a top notch, peak performer He can help you be where every winning athlete belongs. "IN THE ZONE"
